The Great Book of Nature - Episode - THE DRAGON FLY
Episode Summary:
The bear tells the story of a dragonfly. In the first part of the
episode, a group of insects defend a cornfield against a caterpillar,
which, after transforming into a butterfly, lays a large quantity of
eggs that are harmful for the plants. Fortunately, a wasp efficaciously
comes to the rescue and the corn is saved. In the second part, a group
of insects is accused of destroying a rice field, but in spite of the
evidence, they profess their innocence. A ladybug and a beetle testify
that they caught the insects red-handed, however; a dragonfly that was
also an eyewitness, seems to have disappeared without a trace. In
reality, the dragonfly was thrown in the river by the ladybug and the
beetle, but miraculously, it managed to save itself. The dragonfly
reaches the courtroom in time to present its evidence, and at last, the
two evildoers are punished for their dastardly deeds.
