The Great Book of Nature - Episode - THE LADYBIRD
Episode Summary:
In the first part of this episode, a bear cultivates a cucumber plant
giving it great care and attention. One day, some bees surround the
plant, and the bear drives them away, thinking they will ruin it. He
doesn’t realize that the bees are an essential part of the process that
transform the flowers of the plant into fruit. Finally, after a hare
explains how pollination works, the bear manages to grow two giant
cucumbers. In the second part, two brothers decide to go to summer camp
in the mountains. After getting to the train station as fast as they
can, they discover they are much too early: in fact, the elder brother
doesn’t know how to read the time. Luckily, the stationmaster teaches
the youngster how to read a clock, and at last the two brothers manage
to board the right train.
